Honestly, I was first drawn to this ad because the dog is so darn cute. Then after looking at it further, I thought it was really clever of the creator to use the text "Marco?", "Polo" to represent the little fleas that can be so bothersome to dogs.
This is a really clean design in that it has so few items on the page and the background is clean and white. I think you are supposed to be drawn to how cute the dog is and then wonder what the text is around his/her ears. It is definitely an emotional draw to the art and then it makes you think so it could be a little intellectual.

That dog is soooooo cute!!! I like the use of white space and the photo is awesome as well. I like how the dogs face is sharp and it blurs slightly as you continuw back to the dogs tail.
